The annual "Candle In Every Window" fundraiser has concluded with remarkable success, as our community came together to light up the museum with both physical and virtual candles. Exceeding our goals, all our candles were lit, and we raised an impressive $5,000. This heartwarming initiative created a warm and festive atmosphere, allowing us to remember and honor loved ones during the holiday season. A sincere thank you to everyone who participated and donated, making this year's event truly special.

"Reluctant Paradise" transported visitors through time to the two-decade span that began with the postwar period of 1950 and culminated in the "rediscovery" of Block Island as a tourist destination in 1970.

Thanks to the generous support of the GRoW @ Annenberg Foundation, we have embarked on an incredible journey of digitization, cataloging over 10,000 precious images and documents from our archives.
