Simeon Simons, a Western Pequot and Pokanoket Wampanoag, served in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War, and was a personal bodyguard to George Washington. His story, passed down through oral traditions, will be shared by his 5th generation Great-Granddaughter, Junise Golden Feather Bliss, founder and CEO of the Sweetgrass Cultural Enrichment Center.
