Block Island Historical Society: A Candle in Every Window 2022

A Candle in Every Window 2022

History is indeed the witness of the times, the light of truth

Marcus Tullius Cicero

The Block Island Historical Society invites you to shine your own light of truth by purchasing a candle in one of our windows. Let’s light up our building during these early dark evenings of winter; a beacon of history and hope. Each light helps us remember that the Block Island Historical Society exists so our time here won’t be forgotten by those who come after us.

Watch our windows shine bright on Thanksgiving weekend and through the month of December on Instagram and in person if you’re here for the Holiday Stroll. Together, let’s make the building a shining beacon of hope lighting the way on Bridgegate Square.
